you’ll never believe it

I could hardly believe it that this… thorny caterpillar in my backyard I wrote about pretty recently

has decided to share his transformation with us

and I’ve been checking on him pretty regularly

and this little bugger weathered the extreme ocean front winds we faced from the huge storm this past weekend, staying firm where he was planted… and by chance (or God’s timing rather…) we happened to be outside this morning somewhat assessing the damage to our yard and as I went to check his progress, we came to find his transformation had been completed, and almost as if he were waiting for us to say goodbye before he flew off to start life as something new…
