If it weren’t for the last minute
nothing would get done.
I live on the edge of the last minute. My excuse has always been that I work better under pressure. Which, while true, also adds to the stress of my life and the agony of never seeming to get anything done. Anyone else face this problem? I’m certain. I realize I’m not unusual. However, it’s time to grab the bull by the horns.
There’s a little voice inside my head that tells me when I should do something (it’s opposite that other voice). I’ve drown out that voice for as long as I can and I’m going to follow Nike and Just Do It whereas my motto lately had been “Just Don’t”.
Time is quickly fleeting and while some tasks may seem trivial, some may just make the greatest impact. Don’t put off till tomorrow what can be done today. I’m so sick of missing great opportunities on my own account and no one can fix that except me. I’ve already started taking action and the results are pleasing, it’s amazing how things I’ve gone without doing really only take a short amount of time to accomplish when I focus on the goal. Everything I’ve ever been taught my whole life is all starting to click. Not everything happens over night though, I’m still a work in progress.
I could choose not to move, but I refuse.
